Thats so great of you to take them.I must say in all my experience of cats,if they have,as you describe,been locked in a room for a FEW YEARS they will have some severe problems trusting and or relating to anyone.You really have your work cut out for you with these two. My suggestion: Get a few cardboard boxes and build a Cat Castle.Tape the boxes together,cut holes in them,thread wool and string thru,give em places they can peek out and places they can retreat and hide.They will LOVE IT!
